Moving metadata

I've had lots of trouble getting some of my movies to not show or get recognized correctly in any media server (Emby, Plex, Jellyfin)....different ones for each.  So what I did was use Tiny Media Manager to go through EVERYTHING and download metadata and rename all my media.  I deleted the library database file and started new....all was recognized perfectly and I'm happy.

One issue though.  The metadata is in the individual folders of each movie, which is fine, but they are on a NAS (Emby is running on my Windows PC though), and I'm noticing annoying lag when scrolling through the library, which I didn't get when the info was stored locally.  Now I don't need everything, but was curious if I could get just the posters or whatnot on my NVME to speed up the scrolling?  If I need to move it all how would I do that?

Please let me know the best way to handle this!

In each library there's a setting to Keep cached copy of images in the server's metadata folder, you could try enabling it and see how does it compare for browsing/regular usage.

You could also try increasing database cache size.

Thanks for the advice.  I adjusted the cache size to an obsurb 4GB (why not), and turned on 'keep cached copy'...then ran metadata update on the library's.  Took a while but problem solved!
