Looking for some general information on the new app to get me started

Hi - Sorry if I missed something obvious, but I'm looking for something like a new user getting started guide for the new app. I've been trying to use the new app but seem to such a noob I can't figure out where to go and am missing out on a lot of features. For example, I just stumbled onto the whole TV versus desktop display options area. I had no idea that even existed. So I was wondering if there was kind of a "dummies guide" I could use to get started. For example, since the TV display mode is completely new to me I can't even figure out how to change the volume using my attached keyboard.

I also seem to be doing some things that are making the app pretty unhappy. So before I start submitting things as bugs, I'd like to check some documentation to make sure I'm not going to be wasting your time because I'm doing something really stupid things.

is TV display mode the appropriate choice for you?

I am trying to explore that very question. I use Emby on multiple devices among them: a standard desktop, a 65" TV, and a massively oversized, all-in-one fixed location PC/tablet.

For the largescreen TV, I would think it should be an appropriate choice. And I would like it to work on the PC/tablet as well as the horizontal interface is quite appealing in that environment.

OK, enabling TV mode if your primary input method is touch or a mouse is not recommended. It is just not built for that.

But it should work great on a TV with a remote control.
