Emby macos and emby premier / broken

Ive been using/paying for emby for years but recently it seems like its just accumulating lots of problems. I wanted to switch from 2000w server pc's to a new mac mini m4 because the power savings are incredible and the apple silicon is pretty efficient at transcoding. recently i have nothing but complaints from people telling me how bad their experience has been on emby.

I do realize that im paying month subscriptions for emby premier but the single only feature i even care about what most people care about is the hardware transcoding.. . Ive asked and emailed and so have many other people who are probably paying you monthly subscriptions for a major addition of a program that is broken is unfortunate. i mean if 3/4 of the premier subscription is broken should we get a discount or something.

it wouldn't be as aggravating if your paying testers/customers could at least have updates about the features we pay for that we do not get.

If you have an issue, you should report it with a full description and debugging info, like a log, to help get the problem fixed in due course (some problems are hard...), - just as you have done for other issues.  At present all you have done about this is to say that other people have had a "bad experience", which is not much use for diagnosis!

Also, Premiere is not just about hardware transcoding - the free access to clients is probably as big a feature for most people.

It's not about a problem specifically. There's are loads of problems with emby. 

The point is the lack of communication, Lack of development. I personally like emby over all the other options. I dont like that when I ask a simple question im ignored most times.

Is mac arm64 the only platform that transcoding is broken on? I've asked numerous times as have other people about the staus if the development for transcoding for apple silicon devices. All I see is a bunch of questions with empty responses like;  hi, thanks its in development.. 

 

My experience recently in emby has been getting worse.  No one is forcing me to use the version of emby im using. But even despite the transcoding being broken. I still can't have more than 1 user searching my library without 10 other people's streams locking up.  On top of transcoding not working, half the time the clients apps choose transcoding over all because it miscalculated the throughput.

@Lukewhats the big problem answering that question. its not like this isnt like the 4th or 5th time you've completely ignored me and the other people that ask.... 

i guess next step is to re mind you with screenshots of all the empty messages containing questions? or is my question hard to read.
