Emby iOS photo viewer - possible to double tap to zoom?

On basically all other media playing platforms on iOS the default behavior is to double tap on an image to zoom in, but this gesture does not appear to work in the Emby app. Is this a feature that could be added at some point to be more consistent? It breaks my brain a little bit when I try this shortcut to zoom in and it doesn't work and I have to remember to pinch to zoom.
