BrianJFox 18 Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 (edited) I can schedule a live TV series recording on this version, but the upcoming schedule doesn't reflect any actual recording times. Is this a know issue? Reporting here since Asustor users are on the edge. Edited May 24, 2025 by BrianJFox clarity
Luke 42077 Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 @BrianJFox HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
BrianJFox 18 Posted May 24, 2025 Author Posted May 24, 2025 After some additional testing, it appears I've corrupted the series recording options for a couple programs. If I setup a new recording schedule for a program that I've not previously setup, it works file and appears in the upcoming scheduled programs. What I'm seeing is if I setup a new schedule, it appears in 'series', but when I look at the guide for upcoming airings the record icon is shown in the guide, but it's grey, not red. It also doesn't appear in the 'schedules' panel. So, is there a simple way to 'reset' the series recording options for a program?
BrianJFox 18 Posted May 24, 2025 Author Posted May 24, 2025 Would removing all my Live TV tuners/guide sources and then deleting the library nuke all the metadata and corrupted schedules?
BrianJFox 18 Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 I completed removed all Live TV components - all turners, m3u's, and guide data sources. Deleted all series and recordings. Removed the recordings library. Stopped Emby and manually removed all files in the emby user directory emby/cache/m3u-xmltv, emby/cache/xmltv, and emby/data/livetv. Restarted Emby. Rebuilt the recordings library, re-added all Live TV tuners, m3u's and guide sources. Still seeing issues with series records not show up in the schedule. Logs and screenshots attached. The series Outnumbered is working - it's showing with the recording icon in red in the bottom section of the upcoming episodes. It appears in the 'schedule'. Series recordings The Five isn't working - it's showing a grey recording icon in the upcoming episodes and doesn't appear in the 'schedule'. I would surmise that none of the episodes in the guide data are marked as new.
BrianJFox 18 Posted May 26, 2025 Author Posted May 26, 2025 You're correct. I updated the channel to use the Emby provided EPG and it's properly marking new episodes as new. Sorry to waste your time. 1
