If you are connecting via browser from a different machine, then you will not be able to use http://127.0.0.1 as that is used only on the local Asustor itself.

Are you able to show evidence that the Emby Server process is in fact actually running? Because it does not appear it is.

What can you see inside the actual Asustor interface?

I am at work at the moment. There is such a program from ASUSTOR - ASUSTOR EZ Connect.

Okay. I myself know nothing about the Asustor platform, but a quick online research seems to indicate that you can use a tool called ADM (Asustor Data Master)

  1. Log in to ADM via your browser (e.g., http://<NAS-IP>:8000).
  2. Go to App Central to see which apps are installed and running.

Alternatively, go to Settings > System Information > Resource Monitor:

This section gives you an overview of CPU, memory, and network usage.

It may not show all background processes, but it does show which applications are active.

I would try the above, to check whether the Emby Server process is actually running or not. Let us know what you find.

I sorted by name. Emby is missing!

Hi, we are looking into it. Are you able to make your machine available for remote debugging if we need it?

Hi!

Unfortunately, no. There is no way to be physically nearby when you can. At home, there is no way to turn on the PC. And remotely (when I am not at home) we will not be able to do much.

Hi, can you try downloading the latest beta package and see how that compares? Thanks.

When did you download it?

I wrote the answer when I downloaded, installed and checked! You have strange questions.

in the description of the beta hardware there is not a word about fixing the functionality of the application on Asustor and firmware version 5. I have already seen on your forum that I am not the only one with this problem... and to be honest I believe that you will not solve this problem and I use Plex.

Actually it's been resolved for everyone else but here. Where else do you think you see it?

I use Plex.

Hi, but don't you want a personal media server rather than one that puts your information into the cloud to sell to the highest bidder?

emby doesn't work! and apparently won't work. the family has already gotten used to it and even got upset that I can't use it, I had to remember how to use Plex. I don't sell anything, I just use it for myself.

HI!

As I already said. I don't have such folders. I deleted everything and this method doesn't help me!

My topic was created earlier and it would be correct to follow here!😎

Why create the same topic?

OMG!!! YOU FIXED IT. I accidentally went to GitHub and saw beta version 4.9.1.3 there. I installed it and was able to go to the start page!
