Emby App not installing on Samsung Smart TV

Hi,

I found the Emby app in Samsung Smart TV's app search function. However, when I got on the page of the app and click on install, "0" appears on the Emby emblem, and then 20 seconds later, the install button goes back to saying "install". I've tried this multiple times, tried turning the TV on and off. It just doesn't seem to install.

 

I would appreciate any help I can get with this.

Not working here too, always did the exact same process, deleting the app, replacing 'userwidget' and inserting the USB, since today I'm getting a message "emby.tmg can't be installed because of expiration blabla" 

I've downloaded the latest version from 05/26..

Just a heads up that this does take a few attempts to get it to install.....

Have you previously been able to install it from the app store for this TV?  What model and country?

Don't perform a SEARCH for the EMBY APP. If you do, selecting INSTALL will switch to CANCEL and nothing will happen; the Counter will remain on 0 until it times out back to the INSTALL Button.

I've no idea why the following works; it's just a workaround:

Select VIDEO and scroll down until you find EMBY. It takes a moment, there are a lot of APPs.

Once you find and SELECT EMBY, you'll be able to INSTALL EMBY by selecting INSTALL providing you have sufficient storage space.

Wait for the counter to cycle to 100

OPEN EMBY and log into your Server. Don't forget to select REMEMBER ME.
