Myith29 2 Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 UPDATE: I am not sure if this is an actual solution or just a bandaid but normally when I name my folders I include the year with the shows name (i.e. Kim Possible (2002)) just like I do for movies. I just deleted the year from the folder and now all the shows are coming through correctly. This whole process on this has been a head-banger.

At first the details still were not showing for the episodes but once I removed the year from Kim Possible, and the other shows that were having the same issue, it appears that all of them are now showing properly. Thank you for your help on this SA2000. I really appreciate it

It is too late now to confirm the state as you have made changes to the folder name now The year does help and I do not believe it was the reason as I managed to get the metadata with exacly same file/folder naming 1

I think since the folder name was changed it forced Emby to refind the metadata for every episode. And the problem I was having with Kim Possible not showing metadata for some episodes was happening to a few others as well. I attached a picture of Rugrats Pre-School Daze where half the episodes had metadata and the other half did not. This was as of 2 hours ago. But once i removed the year it then loaded the metadata for all four episodes. I am adding the year back to the folder name to confirm that the data stays.
Myith29 2 Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 Update: I added the year back to Rugrats Pre-School Daze and it did keep the metadata. 1
