Duplicate Channel number support

I'm curious if you could add inputs like channel numbers 0-9 with keyboard and numpad in the future (especially the wmc interface). I'm working with a IR remote and Flirc receiver for Windows and Android TV. Adding this to navigation for live tv would help alot in my case. I am looking forward for your responses. Thx
