Emby Backup to New NAS and Restoration

Looking to migrate my data on one small NAS to one much larger one with UnRaid. If I backup Emby using the plugin, will it restore all my settings and configurations to the new install of Emby.

I've spent hours (and more coming) on correcting various metadata and such and hope the backup will move everything over.

Perhaps it would be better to ask what the backup plugin will do? If there is an entire system failure, will it restore everything as it was prior to the failure?

Manual method worked perfect!

Follow up question. When I move Emby to the new UnRaid box, I will be consolidating five separate videos paths to one. 

If I restore so I keep my metadata as mentioned above, how do I handle the changed paths from many to one?  

I really want the metadata to stay intact and the watched states I am manually updating.

Hi, as long as the metadata is retained, then most user data should also be retained.
