Rod 1 Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Is there away to add a 'Save' option for enabling backdrops on the home screen and aslo theme videos. At present I keep having to go back in to settings whenever I close the app or desktop media server, to re-enable them, which is unnecessary and annoying. The same is true for enabling theme videos, which don't always save as enabled, when you shut down the app or desktop server and then re-open it. Just need a 'Save' button for the User Preferences "Display" option and for the Emby Web Settings "General" option, to be implemented, so as backdrops and theme videos remain enabled for the next time you use the app or web browser. Would love it if you could maybe look to incorporate this into the next release.

That is not expected behavior not your should do it each time app is opened, as those options should stick across sessions. Which server version/platform? Are you clearing browsing data (or an addon is dong that) on browser exit?

Platform is Windows 11, server version is 4.8.11.0
GrimReaper 4740 Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 You could also test it from another vanilla browser.
