xsnipuhx 4 Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Hey Luke - I'm having the same issue; however, my setup is quite different. Ubuntu server, Emby docker container for the host, GPU transcoding with a quadro p400 Streams on all my personal devices work fine as far as I know, but the issue arises on the two Chromecast for GTV we have. One of them is the 4k version, and the other is the 1080p. Both are using the standard Emby App and NOT the Emby for tv app. I got a little notification to change to the regular app, so I did. I shuffle a show when I go to bed. Sometimes it will play 2 episodes, sometimes it will be 3, but last night, it played one and got the same error message. The show plays fine, and as soon as it goes to play the next episode, it will display Playback Error; There was an error processing the request. Please try again later on a black screen. I have to hit back a few times to get back to the media selection. Attached are the emby server files. This happened to the user listed as MAINUSER, but has also happened to the user listed as SECONDARYUSER. The time last night this error occured was around 2305. embyserver-63882777600.txt
xsnipuhx 4 Posted May 15, 2025 Author Posted May 15, 2025 Doesn't look like I can edit my OP on mobile. Here is a screenshot
SAMOKC 1 Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Just an FYI, but probably not helpful. My issue has essentially corrected itself. The only thing I can think of that I did was a restart of my device (iPhone). Other than that, I made no changes to the device or the server. As I mentioned, other devices did not encounter this problem…just the iPhone with the updated player version.
xsnipuhx 4 Posted May 16, 2025 Author Posted May 16, 2025 Dang. Can confirm a restart did not fix it here. The only thing I could think of is I replaced a hard drive but the replacement is mounted in the same mount point. Not sure if that would be impacting it.
xsnipuhx 4 Posted May 30, 2025 Author Posted May 30, 2025 @LukeI haven't seen it in since a few days after my last post. Not sure if you guys patched something, but appreciate you following up with me. 1
