Implement optional single-viewer-per-title restriction (library-like title "checkout")

I want to allow my adult children in different cities to access my media library, with access restricted by my firewall as well as their Emby accounts, but I'm trying to be careful about copyright issues.  It would calm my worries if there was an option to restrict viewing a title to just one user at a time, effectively "checking the movie out of the library".  Anyone else?

Regardless of the OP's motivations, I think the primary use for such a feature would be something we wish not to encourage.

Yes.  I explained the reason in my original post.   I want to be able to "lend" movies to my adult children who live in different states.   With all the secure, external networking features Emby has, is my use case really that suspicious?  As is, you can have multiple streams of the same source going anywhere at all.   Why would it be problematic to make sure I'm only allowing one stream per source?

It's just a lot of work for something that wouldn't matter in the event that someone did ever come after you. So that's why I asked if it was the only reason. If that's truly the only reason then I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

If you have something to accuse me of, get on with it.   This side- eye eyebrow raising stuff is tiresome.   I've explained exactly what I'd like and why.   I honestly don't know what nefarious and dastardly plans you imagine I have hidden from you.   Especially ones that couldn't be done already?  If this is my treatment for trying to interact with your forum, I guess I'll give up and leave.

No that was not my intention at all. It was more from the standpoint of thinking about level of effort compared to what Emby would gain out of it.
