Can of cause also download it here. EmbyIcons.dll 3.55 MB · 2 downloads I forgot I also modify textBounds.Top setting in testPos variable. I always add -2 at the end to align the rating font with the icons to make them look perfect on my covers. var textPos = new SKPoint(currentX + (scoreAreaWidth - textWidth) / 2f, startY + (totalSize.Height - textBounds.Height) / 2f - textBounds.Top - 2); Would it be possible to add this one to the advanced settings? BTW I'm not sure if the error's on my side, but I was not able to build 5.42.0 from source. VS gave me an error regarding non existent EmbyIcons.ImageProcessing namespace in EmbyIconsEnhancer.cs. I manually added the folder "ImageProcessing" with a small "ImageProcessingCapabilities.cs" and I was able to build. Could it be that something is missing in the source code you uploaded to GH? I missed a folder when uploading the files to Github, fixed now. Thanks for reporting this! 1

Doppellhelix 17 Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Hello, First of all, thank you very much for your plugin. It looks really cool. I especially like the addition of the Rotten Tomatoes rating. What about the popcorn meter? Is it already there, or am I doing something wrong, because it's not showing up for me. Thanks for your help. 1

Thanks for your help. Thank, nice to hear you like it! There is only the Rotten Tomatoes as that is what Emby offers. Adding support for the popcorn meter in the plugin would afaik. require access to the Rotten Tomatoes API which costs money. The plugin: Rating Poster Database supports the popcorn meter if i remember right and is a well put together plugin. 1 1
ISeeTWizard 29 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hey On Github you have a version EmbyIcons v5.42.5 but only as source code - is that normal? Thanks

yocker 1247 Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 (edited) New beta for those who dare! Been working on this for a while between other projects. Added favorite counter. This will display how many people have added a movie or TV show as favorite. Please note: Because of limitations with browser caches you might have to CTRL-SHIFT-F5 before it refreshes after having added a favorite. Users logging after the favorite was added should see it no problem as the images are freshly sent to them. For custom user icons the icon uses the name heart.png (or jpg). WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! This is a beta and bugs might have sneaked in some where. EmbyIcons.dll Edited January 5 by yocker 3
yocker 1247 Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 New version up (v5.42.6) on yocksers/EmbyIcons github. Added: Icon showing amount of users who have added the video to their favorites. Please note: Because of how caches work in browsers the icon might not update before you clear the cache (CTRL-SHIFT-F5 in most browsers), users just loggin in to Emby should see the updated poster without needing to refresh cache as always.

Kyouma 7 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Would you be willing to implement such an option if it is possible?

yocker 1247 Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 To clarify. EmbyIcons gets all it's info from Emby, so if Emby doesn't have the data the plugin can't show it. To implement the rating you are taking about would require implementing API access to that website, something which might cost money when used in a plugin like this. For example i looked up what it would cost to get access to the popcorn meter from Rotten Tomatoes and the price would have been at minimum 50k$.
Kyouma 7 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Sorry to bother you, just 2 more questions. There is a MyAnimeList plugin in the emby catalog. Is it possible to use that? Jikan API is supposedly free to use. Could that be a consideration? Edited January 6 by Kyouma

Maybe, i would like to keep the plugin using only data available in Emby though. 1
MagicDoubleM 121 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This plugin has grown so fast, it's great. Thank you very much for your ongoing work One thing came to mind, framerates. Being able to have icons to identify 24p, 25p, 48p, 50p, 60p and 50i / 60i would be cool.
yocker 1247 Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 New version up (v5.42.7) Added: 1. Support for FPS icons, use for example fps.23.976.png or jpg in the custom user icons folder. Download it at yocksers/EmbyIcons github. @MagicDoubleMYou asked for it! 1

For example i looked up what it would cost to get access to the popcorn meter from Rotten Tomatoes and the price would have been at minimum 50k$. Not necessarily for additional ratings , but omdbapi.com is very generous with free api calls and up to 100000 for 1 dollar per month. I would love the ability to query based on imdb ID and get back the "Country" as a flag in the poster. Maybe I am a minority here with a lot of non-english movies where audio track language is not correct in quite a lot of items. So this would solve my problem with country flags. Merely a suggestion! Example output for api call omdbapi.com/?apikey=<apikey>&i=tt0120669&plot=short {"Title":"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas","Year":"1998","Rated":"R","Released":"22 May 1998","Runtime":"118 min","Genre":"Adventure, Comedy, Drama","Director":"Terry Gilliam","Writer":"Hunter S.
