Thanks! It's working and looks supernice with 7% icon size. 

 

In case anyone wants the images, I attached them to the post (incl. hdr10plus in case it's implemented at any time).

New beta for the brave people.

I've been working on a preview for how the plugin will look pretty much since i first made the plugin but i could never get it to work.
I've finally cracked it and a preview is now shown in the settings.

Also:
Cleaned up the settings to be more user friendly instead of just a list of settings.
The IMBD rating now uses imdb.jpg (replace .jpg with any other image format) found in the icons folder, if no icon is found it should show the rating just without the icon.

WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! 
This is a beta and might cause unforeseen problems like crashes, so use in a test environment!

Please report any problems you may find to me.

Edit: Thinking of showing the IMDB rating on top of a star or something instead so it is easier to see and looks a little more integrated into the poster.
Anyone has an opinion on this?

HDR10plus is next on the todo.
As it was your idea i will give you the responsibility of what the plugin should look for in the title. hdr10plus, hdr10+ and so on?

Will look at detecting it by video properties also but think it might be impossible without adding a separate ffprobe and i don't really like that idea.

Ah yes  sorry i forgot to say that i changed how settings work so all settings will be reset.
The icons you see on your posters might actually be a stale cache and will need updating.

Also:
The preview icons are set to use 5.1.jpg, dv.jpg, 4k.jpg and the audio and subtitles to just random of what it can find for those in the icon folder.


The preview uses icons from your icon folder so if it isn't set with your new settings no icons will be shown.
I'm looking into giving it some default icons as fallback.

Also i'm an idiot.. Forgot to actually add the code i made to make the rating show without the icon.

The icon name should be tmdb.jpg (or png and so on)...
Will add that code a little later.

Preview still not showing, but icons show in posters.

If I change position of icons, its shows on posters but not in the preview.

Try this one.
You might need to clear the browser cache for your server for it to work correctly.

Interested in if the IMDB ratings work for you as i can't get it to work correctly in the beta.

This dll works as intendend (4.8.11.0), at least on my side with my own icons. Well done! Regarding HDR10+, at least @rbjtechand @Cheesegeezerplugin names the track titles "HDR10+". Would also prefer this one instead of an ffprobe mechanism inside the plugin like you mentioned, when this is already done by the MediaInfo plugin. Keep it simple, people that use the MediaInfo plugin or rename their tracks manually are in luck to get HDR10+ icon, people who rely solely on Emby ffprobe will need to wait until it's better implemented into ffprobe. Just my 2c.

That was a pain but this version should have everything fixed.

Please remember to clear the cache in the browser if it doesn't work.

I believe it might not have worked for you because that you use Docker. I tested in docker my self and also had problems.
The problem was that the Docker version of Emby was missing a font. Adding it manually to the plugin fixed it.

Added the hdr10+ detection, was rather simple so thought i would just add it now.
It looks for HDR10+ and HDR10plus (case insensitive) in the file name and uses an icon named hdr10plus.jpg (png or what ever).

I have a small issue maybe bug

Depending if in horizontal or vertical mode icons are one on top of the other

Here the you the audio is on top of the french flag (vertical mode)

On horizontal mode you can see the audio and the flags

But in horizontal I can't activate the subtitle icons as it would take too much space (I use the RPDB Plugin also at the moment)

Sorry if i have misunderstood you but what i think you mean should be fixed in this version.
I had made a bug by mistake in the drawing logic that totally messed it up, that plus the preview in the settings didn't work 100% correctly either.

It should all be fixed in this version, if not then please report back.

Everything is working as expected regarding HDR10+. Nice job! 

 

 

Icons attached for anyone interested (looks best with MetroCase and icon size 7-8). I put also TMDB icon into the zip, if you want to use this intead of the imdb icon, rename it to imdb.png.

Addded:
A preview to to settings menu.
HDR10+ detection, please note that due to limitations in Emby this only works by detecting "hdr10+" or "hdr10plus" (case insensitive) in the file names. This will only be shown if there is an icon named hdr10plus,.jpg (replace .jpg with any image format) in the icons folder.

Changed:
The settings menu to be better looking and more user friendly.

Fixed:
Improved TV Show caching.

Please report any potential problems to me and i will look at it asap.
