Plugin: EmbyIcons release.

So some other plugin could be responsible as well.  Seems pretty odd since we've never seen that happen before.

When I get home in a bit I can check and see in their logs if there are some common plugins between them.

Of all the plugins one of the users was running these are the ones i could personally suspect could maybe have a hand it in, purely based on that they lookup and changed metadata.

I'm not saying that they are responsible for what happened, just that i think they *COULD MAYBE* have!!!!
Not accusing any one of anything here!

I use ClassificationMapper and NfoMetadata too and don’t had issues

AutoTag I don’t use and never did…

Are all the affected users running Emby Server Beta?

As fare as I know "Autotag" renamed "Home Screen Companion" is only working with Emby Beta server.

Item objects aren't fully populated when they come through the image pipeline. I get the full item from the library manager for cases where I need to test against one of these 'missing' metadata values. I suspect that the movie id value might be one of these values that needs to be fetched fresh to be reliably checked/used by the plugin.

Latest version 5.57.0.1 is buggy. Movies that are not 4K show 4k images assigned on every movie when u get to details.....

Are they multi video versions?

I made some changes to prioritize 4k when videos have multiple streams.

Nope they are not, i have separate 4k library. Now on movie that is not 4K i get overlay for 4k  
Worked all fine in version before this latest one.

Found the problem, i've made a problem where if you have multiples of the same movie the highest quality will be used.
It was supposed to only work for multi version videos.

I will revert the change and look into fixing it in another version.

@yockerHi! Hope you're doing well. I wanted to check in and see if you might know what’s going on with your plugin. For a little while now, I’ve been constantly getting notifications saying a new version of EmbyIcons was installed and that Emby needs to restart.

I’ve restarted Emby several times and even rebooted the entire NAS, but the notification keeps popping up. Any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?

No idea what went wrong but something prevented it from being downloaded.
I've reuploaded it to the catalog as version v5.7.3.0 and it seems to work now.

Sorry about it all!

This last version has been a bit of a sh*tshow and i hate to have to make people reboot their servers multiple times!

All good now, cache needs to be cleared completely so icons are again redrawn.

Same problems as before where there are posters that does not get icons drawn on?

If it's the same problem as before i sadly think it's a problem in Emby that i can do nothing about.
Emby giving the videos an id of 00000 simply makes it impossible for the plugin to know what icons to drawn on the poster.

Do you have a log file where it happened? Will make it easier to hunt down the problem.
