Iconic: You can add custom icons/images (and now tailor their placement if inclined to do so), works on Mixed content-type libraries

CoverArt: sub/audio choices/selections are more granular

Generally, some more scenarios are covered that are not feasible in CoverArt and/or Iconic.

Assuming CoverArt hasn't changed since last i used it.
EmbyIcons allows for more customizations for where and how the overlays should be shown.
Overlays for TV shows, like showing for example german subtitles if all episodes in a TV show has those subtitles.
Also gives more icons types and is more customizable. 

CoverArt is an absolute great plugin and is very close to install and just use.
EmbyIcons requires a bit of tinkering after install as it's settings and possibilities are more comprehensive.

Please note: While EmbyIcons doesn't require a huge CPU or anything like that it still requires a fairly modern CPU if enabling all features.

I basically don't want the responsibility.

New version up on yocksers/EmbyIcons

Added:

1. Individual corner icon sizing.
2. Individual corner icon x/y positioning.
3. Configurable icon spacing.
4. Background bars for icons, posters will scale to fit.

Changed:

1. Chasing slightly optimized to improve performance.

Fixed:

1. Filename rule icons no longer duplicate for each file name hit.

Is there a difference between that version and this one?

Hi，the resolution icon stiil have problem. It always show 720p at the resolution like 1920 *800/1440*1080/1918*1036.

and also to some 4k movie, it don't show any icon if the width is less than 3840 or the heighth is less than 2160.

The icon for the first picture is actually correct, it's under 1080p so shows as 720p.
The last one me having made a small mistake where it looked for the wrong icon and since it wasn't there it couldn't display it.

I have changed it to show what ever Emby displays in the title now.
So if Emby shows for example 1080p then the icon will be 1080p.

I have changed it to show what ever Emby displays in the title now.

Ja, this example is not so good. But I think it still shoul be thought as 1080p, although its width is less than 1920, and heighth is less than 1080. and emby also recognize it as 1080p.

there is another example which is more typical.

Looks like you have two versions of that movie, the plugin most likely shows the icon for the other one.
The plugin only shows what Emby says in the title so if there are two versions of the movie it will just take the first it sees.

I can look into adding multi version support.

Another movie, which resolution is 1920*1040, it also show 720p.

It seems that the plugin recognize all the movie which heighth is less than 1080 as 720p.

I never added an embedded icon to the plugin as i'm no artist and the built in icons are meant more as examples and for getting the plugin going.
Users are meant to supply their own icons.

I have added one in this version for DTS-MA so they will shown up.
I also made a small change to the resolution detection so it might work better in your situation.

After having installed this, remember to change one of the icon positions so the plugin redraws the icons.
