Neminem 1518 Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 I don't see these errors in my logs, so that rules out metadata end points. So I guess its local to your system. Be it Router / Firewall / DNS / ISP or something else is blocking it. Have you tried restarting all things connected ? Network equipment + server. Have you tried changing DNS servers ?
MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 12, 2025 Author Posted May 12, 2025 i did some tweaking and optimized my rclone mount and Kept cache save for 1000hrs. Also Split my libraries into several pieces (10tb per Lib)
MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 13, 2025 Author Posted May 13, 2025 Yeah it did help me reduce the scan times drastically However is there any issue with IMDB or metadata fetching cuz few movies are not getting fetched with metadata if i try to identify with the movie name it says unavailable. I reviewed the Log and it states its cuz of TMDB Timeouts idk how to fix this as this is in a server side and there s no VPN or Proxies embyserver (9).txt

MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 13, 2025 Author Posted May 13, 2025 (edited) I figured it was NFO being saved to my G DRive that made the TMDB to Timeout > BTW is there way that i can save NFO Images in a different Location than the media. > Cuz fetching metadata is making a long Time to Scan Media Library i figured that out Edited May 13, 2025 by MrJohnW1ck

MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 13, 2025 Author Posted May 13, 2025 Okay is there a way i can use my own TMDB Api instead of a shared one i tried googling but the options they state is not available for me

It looks like your server can't even connect to Tmdb. 1
MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 14, 2025 Author Posted May 14, 2025 I changed the API through the System by adding my own xml file now its fast. > My server can connect to Tmdb but the issue is my Library is vast as in 40tb split between 20tb for movies and 20tb for series (5000+ episodes) so TMDB as a limit of 4000 req per day so its get throttled down. Anyways thanks for the help

MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 14, 2025 Author Posted May 14, 2025 I was able to use my own API under "/var/lib/emby/config/plugins/TheMovieDb.xml"
Luke 42077 Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 Are you sure it actually did what you thought it was doing? The moviedb plugin doesn't have any config file that it checks.
MrJohnW1ck 2 Posted May 14, 2025 Author Posted May 14, 2025 Yes its working cuz in log i could see my API key being used 1
