As the name implies, the idea would be to have a toggle that disables local network advertising of the server to clients.

I would personally find this useful since I run a multiple emby instances on the same windows machine (internal, external, beta, etc.) and really only want one or two of those to be advertised to clients via their normal http ports on the local network (others are via reverse proxy only) Even if the local http port for a particular instance is blocked, that server will still be advertised to a client via another open port (7359 I believe).

While technically this can be blocked with windows firewall, it would be nice to be able to disable advertising via that port altogether within emby itself.

I'm sure there are lots of other situations or setups or where others would find this useful too.

This is in the Server Settings under Users:<user name>: Feature Access (if I understand the question correctly). There you can toggle off access to Live and Recorded TV by user.
