GrimReaper 4739 Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 (edited) You're still getting 401 Unauthorized - are you positive your credentials (username (not email) and password) are entered correctly, i.e. no blank spaces if copy/pasted? Edited May 8, 2025 by GrimReaper
Todd.sargent 4 Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 Yes, entered incorrectly to verify. MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: {"message":"Error, invalid username/password failed:1 remaining:9 - this password was already tried in the past 24 hours "
GrimReaper 4739 Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 (edited) Thought maybe vip-api.opensubtitles.com is temporary having some issues - but it doesn't appear so, I can log in and download no prob (Win server). As a temporary workaround, if you clear your credentials and use regular account (it'll call api.opensubtitles.com), are you getting any hits on manual search? Edited May 8, 2025 by GrimReaper
Todd.sargent 4 Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 Unfortunately no, still receiving No results found
GrimReaper 4739 Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 And you're positive/checked on the website that that particular item does actually have subs in preferred language available? Can you post server log?
Todd.sargent 4 Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 Yes the file does have subtitles on www.opensubtitles.com. embyserver.txt
GrimReaper 4739 Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 Quote 2025-05-08 09:22:17.265 Error OpenSubtitles: 401 Unauthorized Response from https://api.opensubtitles.com/api/v1/login Dev will have to comment if you're getting 401 Unauthorized even when no credentials entered. @Luke
Solution Luke 42077 Posted May 8, 2025 Solution Posted May 8, 2025 HI, try reconfiguring your opensubtitles username and password and see if that helps. Also is the server on a VPN?
Todd.sargent 4 Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 Many thanks to both GrimReaper and Luke. Tried my old username acct (not email) without success. Who would have thought, but created another account and this one works fine. This forum rocks and so does EMBY. Screw plex........ 1 1
