Email plugin multiple messages

Dear Sir or Madam,

I've been using Emby Premiere on my QNAP NAS for years now. Initially, I set up the plugin for email notifications. I've also updated Emby to the latest version from time to time. I noticed that, on two separate occasions, the settings I'd configured weren't displayed under Notifications. As a result, I re-entered them twice. Now, nothing is displayed under Notifications. However, I'm now receiving the same emails three times.

I saved these settings, upgraded my QNAP with new, larger hard drives, and imported the settings into Emby. I still receive all emails three times, even though nothing is entered in Notifications.

In which configuration files under share/.../.qpkg/EmbyServer/... can I delete all configured notifications so that I no longer receive emails and can then set up new ones under Notifications? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, but the settings remain unchanged. What alternative can I do to keep all other settings in Emby but delete all email notification settings?

Hi, notifications are specific to each user, so I would check all the users on your server. It's possible you configured the same notifications to the same email address more than once for different users.

I logged in as every single user configured. Most don't have permission to set up notifications, and in the three user accounts that have selected "Allow this user to manage the server" and "Notifications" in emby and are authorized, there's nothing under notifications. As I wrote in the first post, I had the same notifications set up three times for a user account. After the entry disappeared the first time, it disappeared twice, and then again after the entry disappeared the second time. I believe the respective entry disappeared either after I manually updated emby or after the plugin automatically updated. However, since then, all notifications set up at that time have been sent three times each. This also applies now after I equipped my NAS with new, larger hard drives and completely reinstalled it. However, I have imported the previous emby settings and adjusted the paths in the libraries. I used QTS before and now QuTS hero. The paths have changed slightly.

Furthermore, after scanning the libraries, the complete photos of the actors are now missing for all films and series. Only after I manually select them once in each film do they appear again.

What can I do so that, as it is currently set up in emby under notifications, I no longer receive messages and I can set up the current desired notification and so that the photos of the actors in all films and series are automatically displayed to me?

I would remove the notifications that you currently have configured. If you continue to receive notifications after that...

HI there, can you please provide a specific example?

How to Report a Problem

Thanks !

Lukas, what I'm trying to do is remove the currently configured notifications! The problem is that under Notifications, as in the image I posted before your reply, I can't see any configured notifications for any user. The information is only stored in some emby configuration files under the path share/.../.qpkg/EmbyServer/... My question from the beginning was which file should I delete these entries from? Afterward, I would set them up again via Notifications! I have this problem on several QNAP servers running emby.

They’re probably setup under a different user on your server then the one that you’re logged in with.

I checked all 8 user accounts! Not just one, and not just the 3 that have permissions to manage Emby.
