Subs or subs folder?

External sub folder seems to be recognized. The name has to be lower case. Can this be changed to also read the folder if the name is higher case (first character)?

I thought that was addressed in 4.8+ release:

What server version you're running? 

Edit: BTW, renaming all those folders should be a trivial task, using any batch-renaming tool of your preference (like this one).
