subtitles

hello everyone. i have a problem with subtitles in Emby on apple tv. the subtitles start with the movie right at the same time but then they are slowing down... a loooot by the end of 1.5h mowie subs are only in a halfwa. i check subs with other apps like vlc and they are working fine just on apple tv they have issues. i have instal and reinstal emby app but no results there. can anyone help me with this?

there it is: i assume that you dont understand polish so i will tell you this: the subs which are on the screen now suposed to be at 00:14 sec of the movie further gous then slower they get. i attach log file and no bazinga here...

and i would like to add thet i have done this on web browser version of emby so it does happen not only in ios.

partly they are downloaded by open subtitles plugin as well as other aap on my pc called napiprojekt

So it cannot be displayed 14 seconds earlier or later or at 00:14.

What happened is that you likely have downloaded subs not suitable for your version of the episode video file, i.e. HDTV vs. WebRip/WebDL or BrRip. 

You can somewhat mitigate that by enabling hash-matches on OpenSubtitles (though it'll considerably reduce number of hits/downloads you'd get). 

Or you can use some external tool (like this one) to get those subs in sync. 

Or use Emby's Subtitle Offset feature during playback (if it's a constant offset, which often ain't the case).

 well it does display later i have no idea how i can show this otherwise to prove it, i just check your suggestion and i have this option selcted.all the subs download automatic.

Sorry, I'm not following that. Your screenshot shows that line is displayed where it should according your subtitle file, from 00:31 to 00:36.

so it looks like emby reads file correctly , problem is that file itself is not good/right one... i will try to download some alternatives. thank u very much for your reply, i will post again if i find solution. have a nice day
