Fehlende Funktionen bei Musik Bibliothek abhängig von der Anzeigeart

Moin moin,

meine Musik Bibliotheken lasse ich mit der Anzeigeart "Verzeichnisse" darstellen, weil mir die anderen Anzeigearten einfach nicht gefallen.
Leider ist es so, dass bei der Anzeigeart viele Abspielfunktionen fehlen.
Man kann ausgehend von einem Ordner mit einer Gruppe nicht "Abspielen" oder "Alles ab hier abspielen" wählen. 
Man kann nicht mehrere Bands oder Alben einer Band als Ordner auswählen und nur diese abspielen. In einem Bandordner kann man nur alle Alben abspielen. Man kann über die "Mehrfachauswahl" mehrere Alben selektieren, diese aber nicht abspielen.

Bin ich in der "Interpretenanzeige" kann ich zwei oder mehr Interpreten selektieren und "Abspielen" wählen. Das Gleiche gilt für mehrere Alben von einem Interpreten. Auch die kann ich selektieren und abspielen.
Warum geht das alles in der Anzeigeart "Verzeichnisse" nicht?

Beispiele, warum ich die Anzeigeart "Albuminterpret" oder "Interpret" nicht mag und auch nicht nutzen will.
Runde Icons, das sieht hässlich aus. Mögen andere anders sehen. 

Bei der Anzeige "Albuminterpret" werden mir für Bruce Dickinson auch die Lieder von Iron Maiden angezeigt. Warum? Albuminterpret ist einmal Bruce Dickinson und einmal Iron Maiden.

Nur weil der auch bei Maiden singt, will ich die Lieder von Maiden da nicht sehen. Bei den Alben stimmt es ja auch, da werden nur Platten von ihm angezeigt, nicht auch die von Iron Maiden.

Wie bekommt man dieses "Mehr davon" und "Über" weg?

Wie kann man dieses "Mehr" neben dem Foto des Albuminterpreten entfernen, so dass der Platz neben dem Foto auch komplett genutzt wird. Platz wäre genug für eine Anzeige ohne "Mehr".

Hi, this could be because the Songs section combines Artists and Composers. E.g. If you are viewing the Brian Dickinson page, then Iron Maiden Songs composed by Brian Dickinson will also be shown. If you check your Composer embedded tags (with Mp3tag or similar) you will easily be able to confirm this.

If you are using the Web App, it is possible to change the style of many elements (e.g. round to square icons) and hide sections that you don't want to see (e.g. More Like This). I think most of what you are asking for is detailed in posts in the Web App CSS section of the forum. It can take a while to set up how you would like it though. Perhaps check it out if you haven't already, Cheers!

Danke, Du hast Recht.
Die URL für Songs endet auf: ...&type=Audio&artistId=513934
und die für Alben: ...type=MusicAlbum&albumArtistId=513934
Das macht für mich keinen Sinn, da es auch noch die Ansicht "Komponist" gibt, die die identische Seite anzeigt, wie "Albuminterpret".

Wie auch immer, ich bevorzuge die Ansicht "Verzeichnisse", da hier der ganze für mich unwichtige Kram fehlt, und ich würde es begrüßen, wenn es da die fehlenden Abspielfunktionen geben würde. Da es bereits den Button "Abspielen" gibt, der alles abspielt, scheint es auch nicht unmöglich zu sein, in dieser Ansicht an die einzelnen Titel zu kommen.

As best as I understand, Emby (like MusicBrainz does) uses a single ID for a music entity that covers Album Artist and Artist and Composer. Therefore, as per your Bruce Dickinson example, the three page views will be exactly the same.

The only way I have found to completely separate Album Artist + Artist from Composer is to have name differentiation, using emoji symbols, e.g:

• Album Artist + Artist: Bruce Dickinson
• Composer: Bruce Dickinson

Doing this gives two different page views, but takes considerable time to implement. Note: I have also experimented with three page views, but didn't find any great advantage for me. You can read much more about it here if you are interested:

Another option would be to delete the Composer tags altogether, but then you potentially lose useful information.

To give Emby credit where it is due, they have listened and have implemented a worthwhile improvement for Version 4.9, though it only applies for Albums and not Songs.

Umbenennen von Composer oder den Composer ganz zu löschen, scheinen die einzigen Optionen zu sein.
Aber wie Du schon schreibst, man verliert Informationen.

Ich denke, ich bleibe bei meiner "Verzeichnis" Anzeige. Vielleicht werden die fehlenden Abspielfunktionen ja mal implementiert.

I'm the opposite - I like the Album Artist and Collection pages, but have spent a LOT OF TIME customizing them to suit what I want see. Here's an Album Artist example of what I have right now (but it is continually evolving):

The ability to customize Emby (at least with the Web App for me) is great!

Da hast Du Dir ja Arbeit gemacht. Bleibt die Ansicht denn nach einem Update von Emby erhalten oder musste das nach jedem Update neu einstellen?
Mich nervt ja schon, dass ich meistens nach einem Update die Größe der Icons neu einstellen darf, weil meine Einstellung überschrieben wird.

Nein, ich arbeite nicht mit Playlisten. Meistens möchte ich ein ganzes Album hören, besonders dann, wenn ich mehrere neu gekauft habe.

With all of the CSS changes for music I have done so far, the views have always remained the same with all of the Version 4.8 updates. The same CSS also works on the 4.9 Beta. As long as Emby doesn't make any major structural changes that directly affect the pages you are modifying,  then you may be ok? I know that most of the changes you would like can be done, because I have implemented them myself over the past twelve months!  If you try anything for yourself, just be aware that changing the music views could affect the Movie and TV pages as well. (That doesn't worry me because I use the Android App  for TV and Movies.)

I can understand this as I also like viewing the Album Artist detail pages and selecting Albums. I didn't like the Songs section being above the Albums section, so I moved it below. It's also possible to hide it altogether if you want to, along with the other sections you don't prefer to see.

Yes, Playlists are not good for browsing and playing Albums, but Collections could perhaps work well for you? They give a very similar view to the Album Artist pages, but without all the "extra" sections that you may not need. You can then Play or Shuffle the Album Artist Collection without having the Composer Songs by other Artists mixed in.  (A Bonus is the main Collection image is square, so you don't even have to use CSS to change it.)

It would be nice if Music Collections were in the main Music Menu though. I suppose with any of this,  it does take a lot of experimentation to configure Emby for your own preferences and there are always positives and negatives with what you try.

Danke für die Warnung. Ich nutze keinerlei App, sondern auf allen Geräten den Browser.

Sammlungen (Collections) habe ich noch nie für Musik ausprobiert. Werde ich mir aber mal anschauen.

Vielleicht wäre ein CSS Editor mit der Möglichkeit verschiedene Layouts selber zu erstellen und zu speichern mal eine nette Erweiterung. Ich kenne das von Wordpress und nutze das dort sehr gerne um mein eigenes Layout zu erstellen.
Ich arbeite ungerne direkt auf meiner Diskstation, da ich sowohl den Admin, als auch SSH für derartige Tests aktivieren muss.

I've started using the free program Notepad++ to create various CSS files and save them outside of Emby. Then just paste into the Emby Custom CSS section. I quite like the Monokai color theme (so far) because it is very easy to find mistakes and therefore helps me learn CSS.

I'll be interested to know how you get on with trying Collections!

Vielleicht falsch ausgedrückt. CSS ist nicht das Problem, das bekomme ich hin.
Ich möchte aber auf meiner Diskstation nicht SSH aktiv lassen um auf die Daten zugreifen zu können, deswegen ein Style Editor in Emby.

Übers Wochenende werde ich mich mehr mit Collections beschäftigen.

Die Änderungen werden nicht an den original CSS Dateien durchgeführt, sondern im Emby Dashboard unter Einstellungen -> Custom CSS hinterlegt.

Eine andere Möglichkeit habe ich nicht gefunden und selbst hier bin ich jetzt nur zufällig drauf gestoßen.

Ich glaube, ich werde kein Fan von Sammlungen.
Einmal finde ich es viel zu umständlich, das, was ich hören möchte, in einer Sammlung zusammen zu stellen. Dann sind die Abspieloptionen abhängig von der Anzeigeoption unter Musik.
Aber das KO Kriterium ist, dass Emby mir aus Bruce Dickinson automatisch nen Tarzan machen will.

Ne, das ist alles nichts, aber Danke für Deinen ganzen Input.
Ergänzt mir in der Verzeichnisansicht die Abspieloptionen und ich bin zufrieden.
