Totally get how frustrating that is Emby can be a real mess with anime metadata sometimes... I had the same issue with Naruto and had to switch everything to absolute order too. It's a shame it doesn’t handle arcs properly. Hopefully a future update will improve this. Hang in there!

Emby can know only what online providers - well, provide.

As story arcs are generally alternate/additional orders/groups with those same providers, prerequisite is to implement support for those orders - you can lend your support here:

Hi, what makes you think Emby can be a mess with anime content? We have a number of anime options in our plugin catalog.

But you don't yet have full support for alternate orders which are pretty important in anime (maybe elsewhere, but I don't really know).

Hi Luke, I just meant that anime metadata can sometimes get tricky—especially with specials, arcs, or when switching between aired and absolute order. I know Emby offers some great plugins, and I really appreciate all the ongoing improvements. Just sharing my experience as a user who loves organizing anime collections.

J'ai réussi après du tems des effort et de la patience à tout faire correctement, mais je suis d'accord que parfois c'est galère les meta donnée des animé, surtout quand ont commence à mettre les OAV ou encore les films d'un animé faire en sorte de le classer juste après une saison c'est impossible, Gros problème quand ont modifie manuellement les métadonné ont ne peut pas crée de saison 1.5 ou 2.5 pour faire la séparation entre deux saison. par exemple le film Overlord sacred kingdom que je vien de me procurer , impossible à identifier ou de le ranger avec les autres épisode de l'anime

Impossible de le placer le fichier film après une saison en particulier pour faire une lecture automatique dans l'ordre et c'est pareil avec les oav

@fakcupyou could move it into the tv series folder and name the file as a special by following our TV naming guide:
