ng4ever 40 Posted April 29, 2025 Posted April 29, 2025 In everyone's opinion. A 5.5 inch + phone and a 10 inch + tablet Does it depend if it is a movie or tv show ? Plus what genre ?

Plus what genre ? I'd say it depends on the quality of the encoding and the quality of the client device. In some cases the larger screen is better but both a 5.5 inch and a 10 inch are too small for comfortable viewing for me. If i had to choose the 10 incher would be my preference but i am old and little details are invisible for me on tiny screens. Personally I never watch anything on my tablet or my phone as their screens are much too small for me to be comfortable. My suggestion is to try each and see which one you prefer.
pwhodges 2012 Posted April 29, 2025 Posted April 29, 2025 Locally, there should be no reason to limit the quality; remotely, it depends what data rate your upload will support reliably (especially if there may be multiple people streaming remotely). Aside from that, what bitrate typically looks good enough to you is your choice, which we cannot comment on. Paul
