Display Selection Question

Regarding Music Videos Library, there are three Display options.

"Show all episodes of all season together"
"Show all episoides for only single season shows"
"Always show season folders"

Referencing the screenshots below, the way the episodes display is affected by which choice you make.

I would like to the best of both :  Skip the screen having to choose the season first, but still retain the ability to display the epiodes across the full with of the screen instead of as Thumbs.

.

I cannot figure out how to achieve this.

.

I am running the latest version.

ALSO: I am using the Library Type "Music Videos" so why is there a "Season" at all?

.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, how many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths are added to each one?

I am hoping I understand your question.

I have six libraries as shown below.

You want the explorer paths for each library?

F:\Archives - Audio Files\03 - AUDIOBOOKS\

F:\Archives - Audio Files\04 - PODCASTS\

K:\

Q:\

F:\Archives - Family Archives\FAMILY PHOTOS + Videos\

K:\Cable + Streaming\_MTV-VH1\Music Videos\

OK so this is your issue:

K:\

K:\Cable + Streaming\_MTV-VH1\Music Videos\

Using one folder that is already part of another library that is a different content type is not supported.

I would suggest removing K\ and doing something like K\TVshows

I will try that right away!

Thank you.

It works, but there is no view like the view I referenced above.  It's close but the thumbs are smaller and no option to change their size like in other views.  And of course, because it's not a "TV Show" there is no title at the top (which I like).   Maybe what I'm looking for isn't possible.

Then you can always make your music video library a tv show library, but of course to do that, you'll need to follow tv naming conventions:

TV Naming

But more UI display options are certainly possible as well.
