One channel with ac4 audio is direct playing to my Samsung TV (emby Samsung app) and there is no audio. Playing the same channel via emby web interface or emby Android works, transcoding initiates and I hear the audio. I don't have the option to force transcoding in the Samsung TV emby app. How can I get audio on this channel through my TV? Seems like transcoding should happen the same on the TV app as it does for Android or the web. Log attached embyserver (3).txt

There's an option in this version under app settings to force conversion for mpegts which converts the audio exactly as expected. In addition to my question above (about having to reinstall every month), the app is missing its icon on the home screen (not very wife friendly). Is there some way I can correct this? Edit- I removed the app from home screen and re-added it and it got the icon back. Thanks Edited April 27, 2025 by stplatt 1
