changing format of video file

Hi I recently changed nass and reinstalled emby. I record local tv over the air shows with emby. There record in TS format that is a very large file. On the old nas I would shrink the files change it to mp4 or mkv and after I put them in the folder I would have the folder scan the files and they would work fine. But in the new system it will say no compatable stream and it will not play If I put the file in a folder outside of the drv it will play. Is there a setting I am missing to fix this? I added a copy of the transcode file and it say it is denied and I do not no why.

Would appear to be a permissions issue as Emby can not probe the media to get media info.

As you see there is no stream information

Hi I found the solution I needed to change a permissions in the emby folder on the nas.
