Bug when finished playing show

When I've finished all episodes of a show it just shows a blank screen for ages until I click out of the episode. I've found that the episode gets marked as played but the web hook for media played is never run.

But essentially it's just a black screen. When I click back it takes me to the episode details page where the episode has been marked as watched.

Any updates on this? Can confirm it happens when finishing a series on Google tv with any sort of video format.

Perhaps related to this, the playback gets stuck on the last frame and never finishes. This has been a major bug for some time, which makes me consider looking for another software solution. For quite some time now, it's been impossible for me to play content continuously except in direct playback, as it freezes when it reaches the end of the file.

Is there any progress on this one?

It's present in build 65 but was not present in build 36 - I think those numbers are right.

The change occured when the latest version went to the play store.
