M3/M4 GPU acceleration support

Hello, may I ask when the M3/M4 chips will fully support HW encoding/decoding?

I noticed that there is an H.264 encoder in the server configuration. I haven't seen it used in the dashboard view yet, or when viewing the activity monitor, I haven't seen ffmpeg using GPU.

This has been 'worked on' for a very long time...as such, I have cancelled my Emby Premiere subscription until full hardware accelerated transcoding is supported on the M3/M4 Apple Silicon as I currently do not see any benefit from it.

Any approximate time on when this will be out?

I'm considering getting a m4 mini in the future and what would really be a deal breaker for me is if GPU acceleration isn't possible.

Any information would be appreciated.
