Grumpy1 46 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 an overlay or blur when you enter a movie/tv show details would be better like it is on the tv app, it looks to bright currently

I think this is actually a bug. Usually the backdrops are dulled, so it doesn't burn your retina. BUT, it seems like when re-opening the app, or going back to the home page after finishing an episode, the backdrop turns to full brightness. My LED TV is 5 years old, and I can't imagine what that backdrop must look like on a new OLED. Either way, I think it's a bug and probably not something we can add to the list here. Probably needs a separate report.

And do you ever force close the app? Home page and tv series pages are where I've noticed what I think is a bug. Not sure if I've noticed it anywhere else.

Well that's interesting. Seems the bug is worse for you then it is for me. 2 minutes ago, Grumpy1 said: i always do the double click the home button and close it out( not sure if that is force closing it or not) Don't think so, but it probably depends on the client device. I believe with the nVidia shield a force close requires going to the apps list and force closing from there. Kind of like an App reboot.

arrbee99 1815 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Well I definitely want to see my backdrops looking as good as possible. I'm not objecting to bug fixing but don't want any dull faded image in the background, I want to see it. 1
