a2582820897 0 Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 When I was using the windows version of Emby, I encountered a BUG where the refresh rate of my monitor was forcibly changed when playing videos. My monitor was 240hz, but when I clicked Play, the refresh rate was forcibly changed to 120hz, which made me very uncomfortable. Is there any way to solve this problem? In the Emby Settings, there is an option for display controls, and the automatic refresh rate switch is in gray. I can't click it. I also don't know how to make it stop changing my monitor's refresh rate when playing videos. Could you please give me a solution? Thank you
a2582820897 0 Posted April 22, 2025 Author Posted April 22, 2025 The windows version of Emby is 2.222.2.0 and the beta version of Emby server is 4.9.0.50

Thank you This has been much discussed, and a configuration switch to override this behaviour is being worked on. Paul

Paul Do you mean that Emby will release a feature in the future to solve this problem? Edited April 22, 2025 by a2582820897

pwhodges 2012 Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Clients, yes; Server, no (the beta server has, as usual, made changes to the database structure, so the stable version no longer understands it properly). Paul
softworkz 5066 Posted April 26, 2025 Posted April 26, 2025 The opt-out selection is in the new beta (https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/138418-new-windows-xbox-beta-222500-beta/) If all goes well, the stable will follow in a few days. Thanks
