Long time user of Emby Theater recently forced to change to Emby Windows...help me cope, lol...

I just did a clean install of windows on my PC and am reinstalling all my apps, Emby being one.  I just realized ET had been discontinued and can no longer be downloaded.  I went to the FAQ for EW and I get it...things had to change, I see the value in it.

However, I actually enjoyed the user interface of ET.  It was pretty simple and worked great for my 10 year old.  Is there anyway to emulate that interface within the EW environment?

Have a look at your video/display settings within ET and make sure it is set to TV and not auto.

That should gove you an interface that looks just like the old ET.

It's really not recommended to use this anymore. It uses a browser engine that is four or five years old and has all of the vulnerabilities that have been discovered and fixed meanwhile.

The visual difference you see comes from the fact that the new Windows app is shown in desktop mode by default. 

Got to Settings >> Display >> Display Mode >> Select "TV"

and you'll get the same UX like before.
