Hide Tv show Episode Thumbnails

Kodi has an option to hide unwatched Tv show thumbnails for episodes. The reason I like this feature is because sometimes the auto-generated thumbnails contain spoilers.

Does Emby have this option to hide auto-generated thumbnails?

Hi, what screen are you referring to? Usually we show the series thumb and not the episode specific image.

The screen shots in the first post are from kodi. unwatched/watched episode 

it would be a good if emby had an option to hide the series thumb that may reveal spoilers.

Thanks for the link. To be honest, I don’t think it will be implemented anytime soon, considering the first post was 10 years ago.

I was surprised to see in the latest 4.9.1.26 beta that an option to hide spoiler information from unwatched episodes has been added. Where can I find this option?

Ah, found it!! 

I'm so happy to see this feature added, but I didn’t mind the info being visible; it was mainly the thumbnail image. It looks a little weird. Would it be possible to add an option to only hide the thumbnail image?

Now it's hiding the title of the episode.

I just hope the other bugs I reported 5 months ago gets fixed soon.

Yes, a good starting point. Unfortunately, I will not be using this option because it's too extreme. Hopefully, more options will be in the next update.

The latest beta, 4.9.1.27, is a great improvement. It now includes the episode titles, which look great.

When will this feature be added to the Android version?

I've found the latest GitHub Emby(3.4.98) beta for Android but "Hide spoiler information from unwatched episodes" is not implemented yet.

I would have thought the same features would be added simultaneously to the Android beta.

Will it be added in the next update?  

Is the latest beta version in the Google store, version 2.1.27g, an old beta?
