More Guide Display Options

Great, thanks.  From my brief experience with the 'Standard' on an NVidia Shield, I have seen:

 1.Not being able to rewind a Live TV stream, it just direct plays. Yet the the playback progress bar is there.  Pause and rewind works fine in the Beta

2. The 'Standard' is very different and shows some mobile characteristics but on a big screen, such as when you press the back button to exit and a small menu pops up mid screen (Nvidia Shield) and you 'click' down four times or so to select 'Exit'. Very different to the Beta where you press the back button and have one choice, Exit or Cancel. 

3. The Live TV guide appears to be shown in a large layout with large gaps between the channel number and channel graphic. There are 3 options to change this display but none of them change the display to be more compact,

Anyone else experiencing the above with the standard version ?

Don't think these are in the list of items, if not could they be added please (seen on Android TV)

1. The TV Guide should have an option to choose a preferred layout, such as 'Large', 'Medium'  'Compact'.  This would change the size of the layout of the TV guide. So 'Compact' would show more info .Could this option be added to the 'Breadcrumb' menu next to the date in the TV guide ?

2. The font size of the channel names is much larger than the channel content listings. Can the channel names font be made smaller and subsequently the box it is in narrower too ?

3. The 'Time Bar' in the guide (which tracks along with the current time), could this be made more visible. e.g if the choose 'Blue Radiance' for a theme, the bar colour is blue. This can reult in it being lost from view at points where programmes join . White would make it more visible in this case.

Yep, as per my recent post (which you have read I believe as you commented) and @CharlieMurphywho has nailed it too..... unusable compared to Plex or Channels

If you select a program that isn't on currently, it defaults to "Record Series" instead of highlighting "PLAY" like in ATV.  The combination of these issues makes entire series' that you never intended to watch get accidentally recorded.

 

I can't reproduce this. What version are you testing with?
