  • End credit marker bring up Next Episode info like ATV (crusher11)

Has any effort been made towards point #59?

In my knowledge the end credit marker only supported in the plugin, isn't it.

I think the request is just to show episode info when the "Next" button is displayed, but I could be wrong.

In the ATV app, you only get the next episode's synopsis if you press UP before the countdown ends.

I believe #59 is using the CreditMarker's which currently only the Introskip Plugin creates/writes or manually created in the ChapterAPI Plugin.

The AndroidTV client looks for this and brings the 'Next Episode' option up at exactly the time the credits roll for that episode, rather than the fixed 30 (or could be 40..) second from the end duration.

So in the example above - it brings up the 'Play next Epsiode' dialogue/options at exactly 57:58

I'm interested to hear your experience, but I'm only seeing the 2 buttons and no episode info. There's just a big blank space under the buttons.

ET is not picking up the Credit markers created by the Introskip plugin yet, ATV on the other hand is doing that just fine.
A gap that needs to be closed IMO.

What I noticed going back to ATV to test this: The more I use the ET app the more I like it also visually.
It "just" needs some further love from the devs to replace the old one and free up some dev time hopefully due to avoiding maintaining two apps.

I still can't bring myself to use the Android version.  The white highlights are such a turn off that I don't go beyond a periodic check to see if that has been corrected.

If that can be fixed, then I'll give it a fair chance - but as the AndroidTV currently plays everything I throw at it,  is very fluid and fast and is 'finished' - I really have no need to use what is still, imo, a beta release version..

Is the split out of the other topic a sign there is or will be an update on this?

Not sure if something happened there as I've using old ATV app for last month or so...
