Have issue with installing 2 m2 drives & need help

I am putting together my new pc & the motherboard is a b860m eagle plus wifi6e. It supports 2 m2 drives. Now i can install 1 m2 towards the top but am unable to install 2. It seems I'm only able to install towards the top but not lower no matter what I try. Can it be possible the board is a defect? They have this model also with 1 m2 drive slot but I specifically made sure to get the model with 2 slots. I'm not sure what to do.

I figured it out. I feel stupid but will be happy once this bad boy is running.
