Public IP not updating on DDNS server

Hi,

I have had this problem on and off for a long time.

The thing is I use Duckdns.org as my DDNS provider and when my isp updates my public IP, I lose connection to my Emby server (on Synology) and I have to manually put the new public IP into my Duckdns account.

I do not understand where the problem is, is it Emby or Duckdns or my router? If on Emby, ia there a setting I could change?

Tbh, I am not sure and not sure if the server should send keep live or something. I am trying to understand where the issue is. Some say it is the isp router.

Thank Neminem. My config is ok as I have been using it for a long time, but almost every week when the publica IP changes I need to go to the DDNS server and inputer the new ip.
