Support Customizable Shortcuts and Long Press Actions

To avoid straying too far from the main topic, I really like where this is going. If Emby could implement a long press feature to open a user-defined media or include other customizable shortcuts (live tv channel), we'd be heading in a direction that would definitely excite the end users.

When would you use it though? The app already has long press functions in lots of places, so it would be hard to add something like that.

You could use this functionality on the Home Screen specifically for media items that aren’t found in the "Continue Watching" section. The idea would be to allow users to revisit the last played channel or media item more efficiently. By adding a long-press function in this scenario, users could quickly access previously played content without having to navigate through different menus or look for it manually. This is especially useful for the elderly who often watch the same channel. For them, having a quick way to return to their last viewed content without needing to navigate through multiple menus. It just simplifies the process.......

You mean the android home screen? We've already got that, it's just that the list of options that come up are not currently configurable.

We got a major disconnect somewhere. It sounds you’re referring to the haptic settings for long-pressing app icons in android home screen. Let's get back on track here, I was actually referring to the media options on the Emby home screen. specifically, the ability to easily access the last played channel or media item. This would be especially helpful for users who watch the same channel or content regularly, making it easier to get back to it without navigating through menus.
