I was wondering if there is a way to set up a ramdisk that can be used for transcoding, and if it can speed up transcoding significantly. I have a lot of memory on my server that's sitting unused, would something like this work?

Generally not recommended:

But if you're really keen on it:

Ok, if I have an Intel Arc A310 what's the best way to minimise the time spent transcoding? I had like 10 seconds of loading time when i was trying to get the server to render and burn in subtitles.
