Video and audio have become un-synchronized

In the last week or so, the audio has become unsynchronized intermittently with the video. This has never happened before. It happens both from Emby on a computer in Chrome, and on a Roku TV. Running the same movie through VLC from the library disk has no problem. The audio is synced initially, and after several minutes, becomes unsynced. Then the synchronization will appear and disappear randomly, becoming off by 3 or 4 seconds before syncing again.
