Grimmer 15 Posted April 17, 2025 Posted April 17, 2025 Might need a new topic... but I have noted for a while that when I open a library from the Roku it takes about 30 seconds to show anything in the library. During these 30 seconds the server HDD is pounding away. I checked the log and saw a slew of these Sqlite 284 messages (and also a few 404 errors). I don't mind the extra log entries, but I would like to get the server's response time back to what it used to be when opening a library. I also found this snippet in my google search that might be relevant. Emby Log attached snip attached. EmbyLogSnip.txt
Luke 42077 Posted April 17, 2025 Posted April 17, 2025 @Grimmerthis has been improved for the upcoming 4.9 server release. Thanks.
Grimmer 15 Posted April 17, 2025 Author Posted April 17, 2025 Nice! One thing that I haven't completely confirmed, is that it doesn't appear to do all this extra index building when accessing from the web interface (windows 11). Seems to be exclusive to the Roku App (so far). 1
Grimmer 15 Posted April 18, 2025 Author Posted April 18, 2025 Following that long list of Sqlite log entries, there were also these Response 404 errors. Is this something that needs to be addressed? Or doesn't matter:
Luke 42077 Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
Grimmer 15 Posted April 18, 2025 Author Posted April 18, 2025 (edited) It happens all the time, generally before and/or after the Sqlite messages. It is present in the Log Snip above, but I have attached a log with the header info. EmbyLog.txt Edited April 18, 2025 by Grimmer
Luke 42077 Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 OK I wouldn't worry about it, but i think it's resolved for the next release. Thanks.
Akirainbla 1 Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 @LukeDo you have any guideline as to when the new 4.9 release will be out? I can't find anything on the forums. (I keep getting "An error has occurred please wait x seconds before searching again.")
Luke 42077 Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 I don’t have an eta but we’re working hard on it.
