My Android - (google TV) clients don't auto logon any more....

I have 2 Emby servers running on Synology DS1520+ boxes.

About a month or more ago  all my android clients running on my TVs -  no longer auto login using remembered credentials?

 

  I have several hardware solutions running on my 3 TVs—Apple TV, Shield, and Google TV(new and old). The problem is consistent among all of them.

I have an Apple TV on those TVs and they work as always - autologin perfectly.

That includes all my clients runninn on iOs - iPhone & iPads - works as always, perfectly.

 

The ONLY way I can get my Android clients to login - it to force stop, and CLEAR storage/cache & use Username & password.

I have to do that each time. If I don't I just get a spinning orb, trying to connect.

 

Does anyone have any information on why this would be happening?

Hi, yes when you customize those values, then you're on the hook for keeping them up to date. If you forget to do that, then you will have connection problems. That's why it's best to leave them blank and set them only if you've determined that you need to.
