Emby often freezes during playback

I am having a similar issue, I only use Native Emby app for iOS or LGTV. However it will randomly just freeze during playback, sometimes for 4 or 5 min, with absolutely no indication as to why its frozen. There is no congestion on the network, server resources are fine. everything is idling but the Emby playback is completely frozen. It will randomly just start playing again after a few minutes.

This happens on my iPad over wifi and on my TV connected to my core switch via cable. I have a 48 core Dell poweredge server with 256GB RAM and all flash SSD storage, my core network is 10GB and I have 1GB to every endpoint. Yet emby still freezes playing a single direct stream. It cant be a bottleneck anywhere on my network or server, so what is happening inside emby?

It now just jumped to the next episode after being frozen for over 10min.
