lstryhrn 7 Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 The new Android app will not try and trancode if the file needs to be trancoded. For example, the fire tv doesn't support VC1. When trying to play it on the new Android app, it just stutters. It stutters because it tries to direct play the file. You have to change the quality of the playback to force it to transcode. On the other hand the old Android TV app works when it comes to that. I get the reason for converted to be "unsupported device" . Which is ok. The file plays like it should. Any ideals or settings to change to fix this or is it a bug?
