Would it be possible to access the roku app from outside the network (as the roku is always on) to send a magic packet on the internal lan to wake the server? (my router is sh*t and I can't wake on WAN)...

I would like the roku to send a wake on lan signal from within the network. All the other apps like the windows 8.1 app and MBC seem to do it but not the roku.

Hi.

Reviving this thread - as I finally have the other 24/7 services off my main server and I am ready to have it go to sleep to save some of that 24/7 power.  I cant get either of the roku emby apps to wake the main PC up.  Is there something that I have to setup ?

I think it was my server not being setup correctly in the bios from memory.
