Auto Organize : First Section Requires IP-Address Format

Hi

Switch from Windows Server to Unraid server last here and got some series who can't not auto organise with this error :

First Section Requires IP-Address Format

image.png.6f6688758ed230c44fbf9563f6763b62.png

MOGUBSBS was the old server, now the path should be /mnt/Media/TV/Series and the new server name is MOGUBUNRAID01.

Path is fine in the metadata manager :

And in the library.db :

Try to remove the serie from the folder, rescan, vacuum database, restart, put the serie back in the folder and rescan, not working....

Thanks

Hi, we need to see the log from when it actually attempted this, not from after the fact. Can you try with a new file?

You might also be able to clear the log so that it will retry. Thanks.

Exactly what i did, at the end of the log, clear the log and resubmit the auto organize :

OK we'll need more logging to see what's going on. I just pushed an update to the plugin, so please provide a new log once you have that. Thanks.

Do you have an Emby library created with this path:

\\MOGUBSBS\Share\My Video\TV

Or is that just something you configured in auto organize?

Was the path on the my old Windows Server before restoring the backup in my new unraid server in october, almost all series was correct after changing path and do a complete metadata refresh on the library, but 2-3 do this.

Old Server Path \\MOGUBSBS\Share\My Video\TV
New Server Path : /mnt/TV/Series/ or \\MOGUBUNRAID01\media\TV\Series

And, how you can configure a path in auto organize, can't find any way to do that?

Does that library actually work with the library scan? I would think you'd see the same exception in the log when running a normal scan.

I guess you can't. My memory about that was fuzzy.

Yes, the library scan is working and the auto organize is working for almost all series except for 2-3, last time I put the file directly in the folder to get it working but I would like to know why only 2-3 series in the library return me the old path instead of the new one even when the path in the metadata is fine:

image.png.f557690344ff74fbfa2e95731a40dce5.png

So, looking in the library.db return this :

image.thumb.png.933bda4edd9bd59bd841148a5d9f76ea.png

So, I stop Emby, copy the library.db, update all line in mediaitems with wrong path info in it with an update query, copy the library.db back and restart Emby and voilà!!!!!

The auto organize is now working.

Don't know why but Auto Organize and the metadata manager don't get information from the same ID in the library.db and it's look like old information remains there.  Look like auto organize read the line ID 42474 and the metadata manager the 22616962.

ID 42474 look like an old remaining of a database update, he don't have any parentID like the 22616962 where the parent tree look like this :

image.thumb.png.c4b2ef739ce52c04d408b6cda8f1a4f3.png

In the library.db, searching for "select * from mediaitems where parentid is null and type = 6" return me 171 records.

Got a copy of the library.db before making change in it if you need it...

Well how are you defining library scan working? I'm saying anything under your unc share path of \\mogxxxx is possibly failing during the scan because i don't think there is any name resolution.

The scan complete with no error in the log file.

Like I told you, the unc \\mogubsbs was old entries from an older version of Emby (entries with no library as parentid in the library.db).  I don't have any library under \\mogubsbs so the scan don't look at this unc if the library scan start from the ROOT entry in the library.db (ID 104374 in the previous message).

It's look like Auto organize retrieve the first entry with the serie name (who is ID 42474 in my previous message) instead of retrieving the good one ( who is ID 22616962).

ID 42474 look like a bad/old/remaining entry from old Emby Version who was not cleared by the server.

If you need, I can put the old library.db (the one with the bad \\mogubsbs entries) and do a scan and send you the log...

Right OK. probably a defect in an older version of the server leaving the row in the database. So that's really the real problem and not the ip address error.

yes, and the auto organize plugin retrieve the old entry instead of the new one....

Well it's not really auto-organize's fault. The db entry just shouldn't be there.

😀, maybe the database vacuum fault.....

Like I told you in my previous message, in my library.db, searching for "select * from mediaitems where parentid is null and type = 6" return me 171 records, almost all TV Series (probably all if type 6 is TV Serie, don't know the database structure).  So I got some entries who shouldn't be there.

I've been using Emby since early 2010, so my database certainly contains a few dinosaurs.
