CarlBuschmann 0 Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 I miss the opportunity to skip forwards and backwards in audiobooks. If I miss a part, let's say, I have to scrub the entire file, and it is quite hard - not to mention the fact that there is no granularity/resolution/presicion or what you would call it, its either fast or fast making it very, very hard to skip back 30 seconds. One app that does this great is Amazing Slow Downer, a iOS music practice app. You press and hold the playhead, move the finger down do increase the precision in scrubbing, making it easy to hit the exact spot. Also, there is no way to recover if you let the audiobook play, let's say you hit play and fall asleep, or something came up and you didn't remember to hit pause. Being able to jump forwards/backwards to chapters would make this much easier. Also, for pre-dementia (not true but true) patients like me, a marker where you began your listening session would be a life saver in these cases. Also, there are to many "players" available, and finding the one containing the chapters is not easy, and not very useful due the issues mentioned above. And thank you guys, both community and devs - this is a great, great product!
