When Deleting Live TV Recording Not Everything is Deleted From Filesystem

Just starting to play with Live TV recording. If there is a tutorial on this topic other than the very basic Live TV Setup in the KB I would appreciate a link to it.

When I delete a recording the folder holding the recording is left behind along with 1 of 2 .nfo files. The other .nfo and the media  (.ts file) are deleted. I would like all traces of the recording deleted. Am I missing something? Is there a reason I would not want to delete everything created by the recording when I delete it?

after a bit more playing around with recording I'm unable to get consistent results. Usually when I delete the recording the folder, both .nfo files, and the .ts file are removed but once in a while the folder and the tvshow.nfo file will be left on the filesystem. At first I thought this happened only if I left the Live TV channel while still recording and went to the recordings library and deleted the recording. But as I say, the residual folder and .nfo file may or may not be left behind regardless of if I do or don't cancel the recording before leaving the Live TV channel and navigating to the recordings library. It's hard for me to tell if this is a user error or a bug.

One last clarification is that if I schedule a recording in the future, let it complete and then delete it from the recordings library I have not yet seen this "issue" occur. It only occasionally happens if I start recording while watching the Live TV channel.
